Monica Albair's Bio
Monica Albair has been training Reining Horses, Cow Horses, and Ranch Horses in San Diego, California since 1995. She apprenticed under Yvon Mathieu during her first few years to improve her skills in Reining.
Monica has earned numerous Top 5 finishes at the world level in NRHA Reining events, AQHA Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Ranch Horse events, as well as NRCHA Working Cow Horse events. She has worked in countries such as Mexico and Thailand to develop reining associations, conduct reining clinics, and hold their initial competitions.
Monica became an NRHA Judge in 2017. She has a strong Non-Pro program that helps individuals develop the skills necessary to be competitive in the above-mentioned events. She currently works out of Poway Equestrian Center, a beautiful ranch located in Poway, CA.
When Monica isn’t immersed in the equine industry, she is racing go-karts or deep-sea fishing with her husband and friends.
